External Cladding on a Green Rated Building
In April 2019, the construction of the new Oracle head Office in Woodmead Johannesburg, was completed with our external cladding on this green building.
The 4 –star green rated building has made use of several innovative technologies in order to create a work place that is kind to the environment. As a future proof building it was designed to conserve energy and reduce overall waste.
We were very excited for Decolite to be considered as an integral part of the design for the Oracle building as the external cladding and feature detailing for this green rated building.
Decolite adds to the overall aesthetic
Decolite, contrary to belief, offers a good carbon footprint when designed as part of the external aesthetics of a building. This is due to the fact that Decolite offers a favourable carbon footprint, specifically with regards to manufacturing, transportation and installation.

Decolite was used to create the curved external bulkheads as well as the vertical feature detailing on the façade. Due to its lightweight nature along with the ability for the architect to create any type of curve, there is no limit to creativity
