With 30 years experience in the construction industry, Grobuild aims to offer a superior and personal outsourced marketing and specification service. Our Managing Director, Gill Ritchie, began her involvement with the construction industry over 30 years ago. Starting from a humble base, with no prior training, Gill began with the selling and designing of kitchens. This passion for being on site, and seeing a project from the conceptual planning stage to final completion and hand over, gave Gill the dedication that has earned her a formidable reputation in the construction industry.
Part of her tenure in our industry was spent with such brands as Design Syndicate and Hunter Douglas, where she was the senior technical consultant for a period of 12 years. In addition to this, while at Kool Aluminium, Gill studied part time and obtained her degree in Industrial Psychology which gave her even further insight into consumer behaviour. During the history of Gills employment all positions involved the sales and marketing of technical products to the construction, hospitality, retail, residential and leisure industries. Gill Ritchie has been able to form respectful relationships with her numerous peers within the property, construction, and interior design fields.
